Projects
The research projects of the Institute are categorised under four broad themes:
• Change in Rural Industries and Communities
• Environmental Impacts of Change
• Landscape Mosaics
• Social Impacts of Change
The Institute has also contributed a considerable body of research regarding the viability and implementation of common property resource management in Australia.
The projects in each of these areas are funded by the Commonwealth rural research and development corporations, other Commonwealth agencies, State government agencies, local government and the private sector.
